Kade’s Story

Kade, a white androgynous 30-something, wearing a light and blue plaid flannel, smiles in front of a blackboard covered in illustrations of womyn to celebrate Women's History Month at the Brooklyn Public Library.

My mission is to create cultures of inclusion, one learning environment at a time.

Kade, a white androgynous 30-something in a black sweater, is smiling while kneeled down at a table of 5-year old orthodox Jewish children making collage art with shapes in solid and patterned paper.

For ten years I taught kindergarten special education,
co-creating community with my students.

A group of white and Korean adults and Indian children are smiling and waving while holding up paintings of their dreams over black outlines of anatomical hearts.

I traveled the world learning about educational pedagogies and the cultures that influence them.

I’ve been an adjunct professor at Bank Street College and New York University.

I work with educational organizations around the world, training teachers to create inclusive learning environments where all students thrive.
